Abstract

The present invention relates to an electrode manufacturing apparatus including an unwinding unit that continuously supplies an electrode current collector wound in a roll, a plasma processing unit that plasma-treats the surface of the unwound electrode current collector, an active material application unit that applies an active material slurry to the surface of the electrode current collector to form an active material layer, a drying unit that dries the active material layer formed on the surface of the electrode current collector, and a winding unit that winds the electrode current collector with the dried active material layer into a roll, wherein the plasma processing unit includes a guide roller that applies tension to the electrode current collector and at least one plasma generator inside the guide roller, and the plasma generator performs surface treatment by injecting a gas in a plasma state onto the surface of the electrode current collector that is in contact with the guide roller.
