Abstract

To provide a loom capable of weaving a cylindrical woven fabric having a plurality of regions different in woven texture, and to provide a method for producing a hose using the cylindrical woven fabric.SOLUTION: A loom according to an embodiment includes a warp supply device that arranges a plurality of warps in a circumferential direction around a weaving position at which a weft is woven into the plurality of warps and supplies the plurality of warps to the weaving position, a heddle device that adjusts a height position of each of the plurality of warps to either a first position or a second position, and a weft supply device that passes the weft between the warp set at the first position and the warp set at the second position. In one embodiment, the heald device includes a plurality of actuators capable of individually adjusting the height positions of the plurality of warp yarns between the first position and the second position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
