Abstract

To provide a flow type metal-air battery stack and a flow type metal-air battery capable of effectively removing a deposit of a solid active material in a manifold.SOLUTION: In the battery stack 200, a plurality of battery cells are stacked, and each battery cell has a negative electrode flow path 122 through which a negative electrode slurry containing a solid active material and an electrolytic solution flows. The cell stack 200 includes a manifold 240 connected to at least one of the inflow side and the outflow side of all the negative electrode flow paths 122. At least one of the manifolds 240 has a main path 241 serving as a through-flow path penetrating in the stacking direction of the plurality of battery cells, and has connection ports for allowing the negative electrode slurry to flow in and out at both ends of the through-flow path 241.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
