Abstract

To provide a circuit breaker in which a holding function of a grid of an arc-extinguishing chamber unit is not deteriorated by arc gas generated at the time of breaking.SOLUTION: The arc-extinguishing chamber unit is provided with a unit case 20 made of a synthetic resin and a plurality of grids 21 arranged in layers in the unit case, and the unit case is provided with a first case 22 which is arranged in the vicinity of the opening and closing contacts and holds the plurality of grids and a second case 23 which closes an opening of the first case and is detachably connected to the first case to form an exhaust hole 18 for exhausting arc gas to the outside.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
