Abstract

To provide a vehicle monitoring system capable of more surely monitoring the speed of a vehicle traveling on a road in a target area.SOLUTION: In a vehicle monitoring system, a plurality of camera devices 11 photograph a road 4 in a target area 3. At least parts of the imaging ranges of the camera apparatuses 11 are different from each other. The data-mounted camera server 12 processes a plurality of pieces of image AI individually generated by the camera apparatuses 11 to identify the vehicles 5 traveling on the road 4 as target vehicles, specify vehicle-specific information displayed on the target vehicles 5, and calculate the speeds of the target vehicles 5. When the speed of the target car 5 exceeds the speed AI, the threshold-mounted camera server 12 transmits, to the management server 2, illegal car information in which overspeed information is associated with car unique information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
