Abstract

For the corrosion protection of steel materials in the sea, only electrolytic corrosion protection has been mainly used from the viewpoint of economic efficiency. However, in order to reduce the replacement of a sacrificial anode, it is necessary to perform entire surface coating for suppressing electrode wear. To provide organic zinc which is improved in electrolytic corrosion resistance and peeling resistance in a wet environment as substrate coating adapted to an environment different from an undersea part and a tidal part where electrolytic corrosion is jointly used.SOLUTION: The organic zinc-rich coating material is obtained by using an isocyanate or an amine as a curing agent, blending a resin having an epoxy skeleton as a main agent, and blending 300 to 1000 parts by weight of zinc powder and 1 to 40 parts by weight of an aluminum magnesium tripolyphosphate compound with respect to 100 parts by weight of the resin solid content in the coating material. As a result, an organic zinc having improved electrolytic protection peeling resistance in a wet environment is provided, and it is possible to perform the same type of coating on the entire surface of a steel structure including the sea to the ebb and flow where separate coating is difficult.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
