To provide an optimum configuration for achieving a variable power function in a fisheye lens having a bend.SOLUTION: An optical system includes, in order from an object side to an image side, a first lens unit having a negative refractive power, an intermediate unit, and a rear lens unit having a positive refractive power, the intermediate unit includes, in order from the object side to the image side, a first reflective member, an aperture stop, and a second reflective member, an interval between the units changes with zooming, and the first lens unit moves to the image side and the rear lens unit moves to the object side with zooming from a wide angle end to a telephoto end.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
