Abstract
To provide a method for producing a polyether compound having a polymerizable unsaturated group, capable of suppressing reduction in strength of a cured product.SOLUTION: Contacting an initiator having active hydrogen with an alkylene oxide-containing starting material, polymerizing alkylene oxides in the alkylene oxide-containing starting material with the initiator, and converting the hydroxyl groups of the obtained polyether compound having hydroxyl groups into groups having polymerizable unsaturated groups, wherein the methyl formate content of the alkylene oxide-containing starting material is less than 20ppm based on the total mass of the alkylene oxide-containing starting material.SELECTED DRAWING: None
