An object of the present invention is to provide a catalyst for carbon dioxide electrolytic reduction reaction useful for producing a synthesis gas.SOLUTION: Technical Field The present invention relates to catalysts for carbon dioxide electroreduction reaction containing nitrogen-doped and phosphorus-doped metal-free sp2 bonded carbonaceous materials. The present invention also relates to a method for selectively and efficiently electrolytically reducing carbon dioxide to a synthesis gas under mild conditions using an electrode for a carbon dioxide electrolytic reduction reaction including the catalyst and an electrolytic reduction device including the electrode.SELECTED DRAWING: None
