Abstract

To provide a foreign matter removing member capable of suppressing vibration.SOLUTION: The foreign matter removing member comes into contact with the lower part of a conveying roll for conveying the glass and removes the foreign matter sticking to the conveying roll. The foreign matter removing member includes a plurality of unit members 37 stored in a groove-like support frame extending along the rotation center line of the conveying roll and connected in the longitudinal direction (Y-axis direction) along the rotation center line. Each of the unit members 37 has, at an end portion in the longitudinal direction, an inclined surface 37a provided in a straight line inclined at a predetermined angle with respect to the widthwise direction along the conveyance direction (X-axis direction) of the glass in top view. The plurality of unit members 37 are configured such that each unit member 37 is movable in the widthwise direction in a state in which the inclined surfaces 37a of the adjacent unit members 37 are in contact with each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
