Abstract

To provide a medical filling base material having improved shape retainability.SOLUTION: The medical filling base material includes a nonwoven fabric, a basket-shaped structure, and a porous structure. The nonwoven fabric is composed of a biodegradable material. The basket-like structure is made of a biodegradable material and holds the nonwoven fabric inside. The porous structure is composed of a biodegradable material and at least partially covers the basket-like structure together with the non-woven fabric. The porous structure is composed of a biodegradable material which is degraded in a living body more slowly than the biodegradable material constituting the nonwoven fabric.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
