Abstract

To provide a method for efficiently carrying out a Grignard reaction while suppressing the crystal deposition of a Grignard reagent even at ≤ -20 °C.SOLUTION: In a solution containing a Grignard reagent, tetrahydrofuran, an aromatic hydrocarbon solvent and 1, 2-dimethoxyethane, the precipitation of crystals of the Grignard reagent can be suppressed at ≤ - 20 °C and the Grignard reaction can efficiently be carried out.SELECTED DRAWING: None
