Abstract

To provide an electronic apparatus capable of operating a sensor in consideration of balance between power consumption and storage power.SOLUTION: The electronic device includes a solar cell, a secondary battery, a charging circuit, a sensor unit, a voltage monitoring circuit, and a switching control unit. The secondary battery stores the power generated by the solar cell. The charging circuit charges the secondary battery. The sensor unit includes at least one sensor that operates based on electric power stored in the secondary battery. The voltage monitoring circuit detects an output voltage of the solar cell. The switching control unit switches an operation mode of at least one sensor of the sensor unit between a normal mode in which the sensing interval is set to a first interval and a low consumption mode in which the sensing interval is set to a second interval longer than the first interval based on the output voltage of the secondary battery detected by the voltage monitoring circuit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
