Abstract

It is not clear how to control signal transmission for a UAV that does not support NTZ. In addition, since uplink transmission cannot be performed in the NTZ, it is not clear whether the UAV needs to return a response message to a request message when the UAV receives the request message from the network.SOLUTION: To reject a SM message from a UAV that does not support NTZ, the AMF receives a ULNAS Transport message from the UE and sends a DLNASS Transport message to the UE if the UE is in NTZ. Also, when the UE receives a non-registration request message including a cause value indicating that the UAS service is not allowed by the NTZ, the UE may not transmit a non-registration accept message.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
