Abstract

Provided are a reinforcement design support method, program, and design support device that can easily arrange reinforcing bars in a 3D model and significantly reduce the workload associated with design changes. [Solution] One of multiple planar figures constituting the outer surface of a three-dimensional object is selected by the user as a reference figure, and the user inputs information (reference rebar line information) for specifying a reference rebar line located on the plane of the reference figure (ST110). The reference rebar line information is information that determines the start, end, and straight portion of the reference rebar line based on a first reference plane that is parallel to the planar figure tangent to the reference figure on the outer surface of the three-dimensional object. Multiple rebar lines based on the reference rebar line are located on multiple second reference planes that are parallel to the reference figure. The start, end, and straight portion of the rebar line located on each second reference plane are determined based on the reference rebar line information (information on the first reference plane) that determines the start, end, and straight portion of the reference rebar line. A 3D model of the rebar is generated based on the rebar line.
