To provide a more useful air conditioner. [Solution] The air conditioner has a cooling unit that cools the air passing through it using the heat of evaporation of water, and a tank unit that stores water. The tank unit has a water inlet through which water recovered from the cooling unit flows in, a water outlet through which water supplied to the cooling unit flows out, and a trap section that has a first wall located between the water inlet and the water outlet and prevents water from moving from the water inlet to the water outlet, and a magnet is arranged in the trap section.
