Abstract

Provided is a power converter that enables fixed boost ratio and high-efficiency operation using a resonant state, and variable boost ratio operation using a non-resonant state. 【Solution means】A first resonant inductor L connected to leg A and leg B A and a second resonant inductor L B are provided, four or more switching elements are connected in series, and further one or more resonant capacitors C resoA and resonant capacitors C resoB can generate multiple levels. Leg A and leg B are connected to high-voltage side input / output terminals, the high-frequency voltage terminal is connected to one end of the first resonant inductor L A and the second resonant inductor L B , and the other end is connected to low-voltage side input / output terminals. The power converter 100 is made to be capable of operating in different characteristics, including a first mode in which the first resonant inductor L A and the second resonant inductor L B are resonated with the resonant capacitors C resoA and resonant capacitors C resoB to perform soft switching operation, and a second mode in which chopping operation is performed without resonance.
