In-vehicle air conditioning system

The air conditioning system rapidly cools the vehicle interior by switching to outside air intake when interior temperature exceeds exterior temperature and switching to internal circulation when the temperature difference is minimal, addressing inefficiencies in CO2 refrigerant systems and ensuring efficient and safe operation.

Abstract

We disclose an in-vehicle air conditioning system that can quickly cool the interior of a vehicle with high energy efficiency. [Solution] The air conditioning system 10 includes an air conditioning device 12 mounted in the vehicle and switchable between internal air circulation mode and external air intake mode, and a controller 14. When the interior temperature of the vehicle is higher than the outside temperature, the controller 14 operates the air conditioning device 12 in the external air intake mode for cooling. When the temperature difference between the interior temperature and the outside temperature falls below a specified reference value, the controller 14 switches the air conditioning device 12 to the internal air circulation mode, even if the interior temperature is higher than the outside temperature.
