Abstract

Traditional support for NEETs and hikikomori (socially withdrawn individuals) limits the field of social independence to the labor market, setting employment as the goal. However, these individuals already have a lower-than-average motivation to work, and many psychological resistances, such as an unfamiliar work environment, lack of skills, and being ordered around by younger superiors, combine to prevent them from taking the plunge into employment. Furthermore, these psychological resistances intensify as they get older, leading to a vicious cycle. [Solution] In order to support the social participation of NEETs and hikikomori, the individual's assets are securitized and traded in the startup market. On the condition that they are appointed as part-time directors of the company established, relatives such as parents provide funding to entrepreneurs, allowing them to earn a stable income without working. Even if there is no change in the individual's daily life, they can escape from being a NEET or hikikomori.
