Abstract

[Solution] The vehicle control ECU includes a controller that performs automatic braking when it determines that the risk of collision between an object and the vehicle is equal to or greater than an automatic braking threshold, and a communication device that communicates with an external device of the vehicle. The vehicle control ECU receives specific location-related information from the external device via the communication device, which is information that identifies a location where automatic braking has been performed in the past and is correlated with the level of possibility that automatic braking will be performed again at that location. When the vehicle approaches a location identified by the specific location-related information, the vehicle control ECU performs either a first control brake fluid pre-pressurization and a second control (notification and pre-pressurization of brake fluid) according to the specific location-related information.
