Abstract

We provide heat-sterilized beverages that contain vegetable oils while reducing the odor caused by heat degradation. [Solution] In a heat-sterilized beverage containing vegetable oil, an inorganic salt containing epigallocatechin and magnesium salt and / or potassium salt is added, and the epigallocatechin content in the beverage is set to 0.1 to 20.0 mg / 100 ml. If the beverage contains an inorganic salt containing magnesium salt, the magnesium content in the beverage is set to 0.4 to 15.0 mg / 100 ml. If the beverage contains an inorganic salt containing potassium salt, the potassium content in the beverage is set to 5 to 160 mg / 100 ml.
