Abstract
The present invention provides a construction machine that can be changed from a tilted-down state to a tilted-up state without requiring the removal or installation of a cover member that covers the gap between the front end of the floor member in the tilted-down state and the front end of the vehicle frame. [Solution] A hydraulic excavator 1 comprises a cab 12 having a floor member 13, and a tilt support member 17 that allows the cab 12 to move between a tilt-up state where the rear side of the cab 12 is moved upward and a tilt-down state where the rear side of the cab 12 is placed on a slewing frame 5. The excavator 1 further comprises a movable cover 100 positioned in front of the tilt support member 17 and covering the space H between the slewing frame 5 and the floor member 13 in the tilt-down state, and a link 104 that rotatably connects the movable cover 100 to the floor member 13, wherein the link 104 is configured to support the movable cover 100 at a position separated from the floor member 13 when the cab 12 moves between the tilt-down state and the tilt-up state.
