Abstract

In a power transmission device having multiple power transmission coils, appropriate control is performed regarding wireless power transmission. [Solution] Multiple Pings are transmitted via multiple coils, and after transmitting the Pings, identification information is obtained from one or more power receiving devices. If there are multiple power receiving devices, power is transmitted wirelessly to the first power receiving device via a first coil included in the multiple coils that corresponds to the first power receiving device included in the multiple power receiving devices, and power is transmitted wirelessly to the second power receiving device via a second coil included in the multiple coils that corresponds to the second power receiving device included in the multiple power receiving devices. During the wireless power transmission to the first power receiving device via the first coil, control is made not to transmit Pings based on the positions of the first coil and each of the multiple coils.
