Abstract

We provide a camera module that effectively prevents camera shake. [Solution] The lens drive device includes a housing comprising a first housing and a second housing, a barrel disposed within the first housing, a first elastic member connecting the barrel and the first housing, a first coil disposed outside the barrel, a magnet disposed on the inner surface of the side wall of the first housing and facing the first coil, and a second coil disposed between the magnet and the second housing. The second coil faces the lower surface of the magnet. The second coil interacts with the magnet to move the first housing and the magnet such that the first housing moves relative to the second housing in the horizontal direction. The width of the magnet is less than the width of the second coil. A portion of the second coil is disposed between the side wall of the first housing and the second housing. The length of the magnet is greater than the length of the first coil.
