On-device artificial intelligence system and method

Abstract

This invention provides a system and method for on-device artificial intelligence (AI). [Solution] The method includes obtaining a request to perform a task on a client device. The method includes providing this request as input to a generative AI model running on the client device. The generative AI model is trained to identify one or more applications that can perform the task and to generate instructions for the task for one or more applications. The method includes providing the instructions for the task to one or more applications. The method includes receiving an indication of completion of at least a portion of the task. The method includes providing information on the completion of at least a portion of the task on the client device.
