[Solution] In constructing a core for a multiphase transformer, which comprises a plurality of core body portions 2a, 2b… formed in a post shape from a magnetic material, a core upper end portion 2x that is continuous with the upper end of each core body portion 2a, 2b… and forms a common magnetic path, and a core lower end portion 2y that is continuous with the lower end of each core body portion 2a, 2b… and forms a common magnetic path, a core intermediate portion 2s is provided between the core upper end portion 2x and the core lower end portion 2y at a position surrounded by the plurality of core body portions 2a, 2b…, which is common to each core body portion 2a, 2b… and magnetically connects the core upper end portion 2x and the core lower end portion 2y to form a magnetic path.
