Abstract
This invention provides a multilingual audio distribution method that translates the speaker's voice into other languages, minimizes the time lag associated with translation, and enables transmission to multiple recipients without delay. [Solution] The speaking terminal 1 receives voice from the speaker and transmits it while the PTT (Press to Talk) button is pressed and held down. The speaker's voice is input to the translation engine 3 and converted to text by the text conversion unit 3a. The text converted from the voice is translated into multiple languages by the multilingual translation unit 3b and converted into voice in each language by the speech synthesis engine unit 3c for each language. The converted multilingual voice is input to the voice distribution server 4 and the voice distribution unit 4a distributes the multilingual voice in the pre-selected language. This translated and distributed voice is received by the receiving terminal 5 and transmitted to the receiver.
