Method for controlling the amount of plating adhesion to steel strip, method for manufacturing hot-dip plated steel strip, and control device for controlling the amount of plating adhesion to steel strip
By sequentially calculating and outputting nozzle pressure and spacing values using machine learning models, the method addresses the challenge of accurate plating adhesion control at high line speeds, minimizing yield loss and maintaining target plating amounts on steel strips.

Abstract
The present invention provides a method for controlling the amount of plating deposited on a steel strip and a device for controlling the amount of plating deposited on a steel strip that can suppress yield reduction caused by deviating from the target range of plating deposition. [Solution] A method for controlling the amount of plating deposited on a steel strip by injecting gas from a wiping device onto the steel strip as it is removed from a molten plating bath, wherein a nozzle pressure setting value is calculated according to a target value of the amount of plating deposited, and a nozzle spacing calculation model is used to calculate the nozzle spacing setting value, which includes the target value of the amount of plating deposited, the nozzle pressure setting value, and the transport speed of the steel strip as inputs, and outputs the nozzle spacing, which is the distance between the nozzle and the steel strip. The nozzle pressure setting value is output before the nozzle spacing setting value is output, so as to shorten the time difference until each setting value is reflected compared to outputting the nozzle spacing and nozzle pressure setting values simultaneously.
