Abstract

The present invention provides a liquid detergent composition for commercial dishwashers that exhibits low metal corrosiveness, good cleaning performance, and excellent re-soiling prevention and scale buildup prevention, even in water-saving automatic dishwashers where accumulation of cleaning solution is significant. [Solution] (A) One or more selected from L-glutamic acid diacetic acid, methylglycine diacetic acid, and their alkali metal salts, in an amount of 3% to 20% by mass, (B) an aminoethanol compound, (C) Sodium hydroxide in an amount of 7% by mass or less, (D) Potassium hydroxide in an amount of 7% by mass or less, (E) One or more polymer compounds selected from polyacrylic acid having acrylic acid as a monomer unit, polyacrylic acid copolymers which are copolymers of acrylic acid as a monomer unit and monomer units having a carboxyl group copolymerizable with acrylic acid, and alkali metal salts thereof, in an amount of 0.2% by mass or more and 5% by mass or less, and the remainder being water. (F) Contains virtually no carbonates and silicates, or contains less than 1% by mass of carbonates and silicates when converted to sodium salts. A liquid detergent composition for automatic dishwashers is used, which has a pH of 12 or higher at 25°C and a pH of 10 or higher for a 0.1% by mass aqueous solution.
