Abstract
To ensure that the fit between the mating portion and the container remains stable, even when the paper springs back over time, for a paper lid formed by press molding from a single sheet of cardboard. [Solution] The paper lid 10 comprises a top surface portion 11 and a side wall portion 12 hanging down from the outer edge of the top surface portion 11. The side wall portion 12 bulges outward and has a fitting portion 12a that can be fitted onto the rim portion 23 of the opening edge of the container 20, and a recess 12b formed below the fitting portion 12a that is recessed inward. Here, the fitting portion 12a of the paper lid 10 is formed by bulging molding, and the other parts are formed by drawing molding. Even if the shape of the entire paper lid 10 changes to expand over time, the fitting portion 12a changes shape in the direction of contraction to return to its state before bulging, so the dimensional change of the fitting portion itself is suppressed overall. Combined with the fact that the recess 12b below the fitting portion acts as a stopper, the fitted state is stable.
