Abstract
Ensuring electrical safety when electrical discharge occurs from the vehicle to the outside. [Solution] The control system is a vehicle control system. The vehicle includes a battery capable of charging and discharging power for the vehicle's operation, and a BOBC that includes a bidirectional inverter that converts the DC power of the battery into AC power and outputs the converted AC power to the outside of the vehicle. The control system includes a processor and an insulation resistance reduction detection unit that detects a decrease in insulation resistance from the AC side of the bidirectional inverter to the battery. When discharging from the BOBC to the outside, the processor uses the insulation resistance reduction detection unit to detect a decrease in insulation resistance (S132) before connecting (S135) a relay that switches between the disconnected and connected states of the circuit connecting the AC side of the bidirectional inverter and the outside of the vehicle. If no decrease in insulation resistance is detected, the processor issues a command to switch the relay to the connected state (S133~S135, S193~S195, S213~S214).
