[Claim 1] Until now, multi-bracket orthodontic treatment has used metal archwires made of stainless steel or nickel-titanium. These wires themselves lack elasticity and tensile strength, requiring other traction devices. Polyurethane rubber archwires, however, possess elasticity and tensile strength, allowing them to exert traction force to move teeth, especially posteriorly, without the need for other traction devices. This reduces discomfort in the patient's mouth and simplifies the treatment procedure.
