Abstract
Rotary joints can suppress the decrease in measurement accuracy when pressure is applied to the magnetic sensor. [Solution] The rotary coupling (1) comprises a rotor (12), a shaft (13) with a through-hole formed therein, a rod (14), a case (16), and a magnetic sensor (161). The rod is provided in the hole (132) so as to extend from one end of the shaft in a first direction along the central axis of the rotor. The case is housed in the hole at the other end of the shaft and is formed in a hollow cylindrical shape, and is provided with a guide portion (1622) that guides the magnetic sensor to move along the first direction when it is pressed and moved in the first direction within the hole. The magnetic sensor is provided in the case such that its measuring surface (1610) faces the end of the rod corresponding to the other end of the shaft, and measures the rotation angle with the central axis between the rod and the shaft as the axis of rotation.
