Abstract
This invention provides an ultra-fine needle patch that is painless and comfortable to use when applied to the skin, effectively contains medicinal ingredients that require low-temperature storage, delivers medicinal ingredients to the skin, and achieves high efficacy, as well as a method for manufacturing the same. [Solution] The device is made of a biocompatible material that has been dried and solidified at a low temperature below room temperature and comprises a plurality of needles 14 having sharp tips 14a. The needles 14 are conical or cone-shaped, and the diameter of the needles 14 at a position 500 nm away from the tip towards the base end is 500 to 2000 nm. The length of the needles 14 is 12 to 78 μm. The needles 14 are arranged at intervals of 10 to 240 μm. The biocompatible material contains a medicinal component that requires storage at a low temperature below room temperature. The biocompatible material is hyaluronic acid with a molecular weight of 2000 to 700000. The biocompatible material is one or more materials selected from collagen, polylactic acid, polyglycolic acid, polycaprolactone or copolymers thereof.
