Abstract

The convex portion 11 and the concave portion 12 are formed alternately in at least one of the vertical and horizontal directions, aligned via predetermined flat connecting portions 13. Multiple metal plates 9, each with a catalyst attached to the surface and back sides including the convex portion 11 and the concave portion 12, are stacked such that the convex portions 11 and the concave portions 12 are offset from each other in the horizontal direction, and adjacent metal plates 9 in the stacking direction are joined and connected at least by the connecting portions 13.
