Abstract

We provide a diamond quantum sensor that can improve sensitivity. [Solution] The diamond quantum sensor D according to this disclosure senses a magnetic field by simultaneously irradiating with two types of microwaves 23 and 24 with different frequencies f1 and f2. If the frequency difference between the two types of microwaves is Δf, then Δf is in the range of 0.2MHz ≤ Δf ≤ 3.0MHz or 3.8MHz ≤ Δf ≤ 5.4MHz. Δf may also be in the range of 0.2MHz ≤ Δf ≤ 0.8MHz, 1.8MHz ≤ Δf ≤ 2.8MHz or 4.0MHz ≤ Δf ≤ 4.8MHz.
