Abstract

This invention provides a fan coil unit that improves workability and maintainability after installation when installed in a ceiling, shortens construction time, and prevents the inconvenience of dust and other debris falling into the room below during maintenance. [Solution] In a fan coil unit installed in the ceiling cavity 1B, the casing 11, which has an intake port 12 and an outlet port 13 on its bottom plate 11A, is configured as a ceiling cassette type embedded in the ceiling cavity 1B with the bottom plate 11A side exposed to the room 1A, and the top plate 11F of the casing 11 located in the ceiling cavity 1B is provided with openable and closable inspection openings 20, 22, and 24 for maintenance.
