Abstract

This invention provides a system and method for generating synthesized drive sounds that correspond to user evaluations of the vehicle. [Solution] In the system 10, the server includes a first information acquisition unit that acquires first vehicle information indicating a simulated operating state of the vehicle and a plurality of parameter information defining the characteristics of the synthesized drive sound; a first synthesized drive sound generation unit that generates a plurality of first synthesized drive sounds for the first vehicle information; a cluster unit that clusters the plurality of first synthesized drive sounds into a plurality of clusters based on the characteristic quantities of each first synthesized drive sound; and a selection unit that selects a first synthesized drive sound for each cluster and selects parameter information associated with the first synthesized drive sound. The vehicle-side device includes a second information acquisition unit that acquires second vehicle information indicating the operating state of the vehicle; a second synthesized drive sound generation unit that generates a second synthesized drive sound for each parameter information by combining the parameter information selected by the selection unit and the second vehicle information; and an evaluation unit that performs an evaluation of the second synthesized drive sound based on user evaluation.
