Y2O3 sintered body
By adding Al2O3 and TiO2 to Y2O3 sintered bodies in specific ratios, the sintered body achieves uniform crystal grain size and improved corrosion resistance, addressing the durability and corrosion issues of conventional Y2O3 bodies, suitable for heat treatment components.

Abstract
The object of the present invention is to provide a Y2O3 sintered body that has superior corrosion resistance and durability compared to conventional Y2O3 sintered bodies. [Solution] A Y2O3 sintered body that satisfies the following requirements (a) to (f). (a) The relative density is 95% or higher. (b) It consists mainly of a Y2O3 crystalline phase, with the amount of a secondary crystalline phase other than the Y2O3 crystalline phase being 5.0% or less. (c) The Y2O3 content is 97.5% by mass or more. (d) The Al2O3 content is 0.1 to 1.2% by mass. (e) The TiO2 content is 0.2 to 1.0 mass%. (f) The average crystal particle diameter is 3 to 12 μm, and the ratio of the maximum particle diameter to the average crystal particle diameter is 3.0 or less.
