Abstract
The present invention provides an insect trapping device having a configuration that widens the range over which insects can be collected. [Solution] The insect trapping device 1 comprises a housing 10, an insect-attracting lamp 21, a discharge guide 31a, a suction unit 32, and a collection unit 23. The insect-attracting lamp 21 is attached to the housing 10. The discharge guide 31a guides the air so that it is directed towards the space adjacent to the insect-attracting lamp 21. The suction unit 32 is spaced apart from the discharge guide 31a and sucks in the air guided by the discharge guide 31a, thereby forming an airflow originating from the discharge guide 31a. The collection unit 23 is located inside the housing 10 and collects the insects sucked in by the suction unit 32 along with the air.
