[Solution] The polymer particle manufacturing apparatus according to the present disclosure comprises an emulsification unit that mixes an aqueous phase, an activator, and a monomer phase to produce an oil-in-water emulsion, and a reaction unit that carries out a monomer polymerization reaction using the produced emulsion, wherein the emulsification unit comprises a first mixer that combines an aqueous phase and an activator introduced by separate channels to form a mixed fluid and transfer it to the downstream side, a second mixer located downstream of the first mixer that combines the mixed fluid and the monomer phase to produce an emulsion and transfer it to the reaction unit, a first channel for transferring the mixed fluid between the first mixer and the second mixer, a detection device for detecting characteristic quantities of the mixed fluid in the first channel, and an adjustment device that adjusts the relative introduction amounts of the aqueous phase and the activator based on the detected characteristic quantities.
