Abstract

The present invention provides a vehicle operation detection device that can suppress the length of the device in the longitudinal direction of the antenna. [Solution] The vehicle operation detection device 60 comprises a long antenna 80 that communicates with a portable device held by the user, a first sensor electrode 100 that detects capacitance that changes as an object approaches, a substrate 120 to which the antenna 80 and the first sensor electrode 100 are electrically connected, and a case 70 that supports the antenna 80, the first sensor electrode 100 and the substrate 120. In the thickness direction of the substrate 120, the antenna 80, the first sensor electrode 100 and the substrate 120 are arranged to be stacked with a gap between them.
