Abstract

[Solution] A pneumatic tire equipped with a tread, wherein the tread has a first main groove 21 extending along the tire circumferential direction, a second main groove 23 provided further outward in the tire axial direction than the first main groove 21 and extending along the tire circumferential direction, and having a groove width smaller than that of the first main groove 21, and a land area 40 partitioned by the first main groove 21 and the second main groove 23, wherein the land area 40 has a first groove 41 communicating with the second main groove 23 and extending inward in the tire axial direction, and a second groove 42 communicating with the first groove 41 and provided at a position overlapping with the tire axial central portion of the land area 40, and extending while inclined inward in the tire axial direction toward one side in the tire circumferential direction, wherein the second groove 42 does not communicate with the first main groove 21 and has a recess 46 in the tire axial inner region of the second groove 42 that is recessed inward in the tire radial direction.
