Claims

1. A battery module in which multiple battery cells are stacked, Through holes are provided at the corners of the aforementioned plurality of battery cells. A battery module in which cooling members extending in the stacking direction of the plurality of battery cells are inserted through the through holes of the plurality of battery cells so that the plurality of battery cells can move in the stacking direction.

2. The battery module according to claim 1, wherein the contact surface between the plurality of battery cells and the cooling member is expanded.

3. A heat transfer member is fitted into the through-hole of the plurality of battery cells. The heat transfer member has a hole through which the cooling member can be inserted, The battery module according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the inner surface of the hole extends along the insertion direction of the cooling member and contacts the outer surface of the cooling member.

4. The battery module according to claim 3, wherein a heat transfer material is applied to the contact surface between the heat transfer member and the cooling member.

5. The plurality of battery cells have protective members for protecting the electrode tabs, The battery module according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the corner of the protective member is provided with the through hole.

6. The battery module according to claim 5, wherein the inner surface of the through hole provided at the corner of the protective member extends along the insertion direction of the cooling member and abuts against the outer surface of the cooling member.

7. At least one heat sink is placed between the plurality of battery cells. The battery module according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the heat sink has a hole through which the cooling member can be inserted.

8. Each of the aforementioned battery cells is provided with a cooling device. The battery module according to claim 7, wherein a heat insulating layer is provided on a portion of the heat sink on the cooling device side.

9. The battery module according to claim 1 or 2, wherein at least one insulating material is provided between the plurality of battery cells.

10. The battery module according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the plurality of battery cells are solid-state battery cells or lithium metal battery cells.
