Abstract

This invention provides a wireless tag communication device and a search program that can identify the location of RFID tags. [Solution] According to the embodiment, the wireless tag communication device comprises a communication unit, a position detection sensor, and a processing circuit. The communication unit communicates with the wireless tag. The position detection sensor detects the position of the communication unit. The processing circuit calculates the direction of movement from a first position to a second position based on the detection by the position detection sensor, determines whether the direction of movement is a first direction within a first angular range with respect to the direction from the first position toward the wireless tag, or a second direction within a second angular range, and switches the method of estimating the position of the wireless tag depending on whether the direction of movement is the first direction or the second direction.
