This invention provides a mechanism for receiving image data generated based on images captured by a camera, enabling appropriate image display. [Solution] A system is provided comprising at least one transmitting terminal and at least one receiving terminal. The transmitting terminal includes a first image generation unit that generates first image data and a transmitting unit that transmits the first image data. When the image captured by the camera includes a part of a human body, the first image generation unit generates an image of a part of the image that includes the part of the human body as first image data. The transmitting unit transmits state data based on the image state of the human body in the image. The receiving terminal includes a receiving unit that receives the first image data and state data, and a second image generation unit that generates an image for display on a display unit based on the state data, including an image based on the first image data, or an image based on second image data instead of the first image data.
