Abstract

To provide a planting machine and work vehicle that are less prone to poor germination. [Solution] The planting machine comprises a furrowing section 3 for forming furrows in the field and a dropping section 4 for dropping the planting material into the furrow. The dropping section 4 has an intake port 43, an outlet port 44, and a width adjustment section 400. The intake port 43 takes in the planting material. The outlet port 44 drops the planting material by discharging it. The width adjustment section 400 is located between the intake port 43 and the outlet port 44, and as it approaches the outlet port 44, it moves the planting material inward in the width direction of the furrow.
