Abstract

To obtain a detector test device and detector test system that facilitates operational testing of detectors installed in locations with obstructions in front of them. [Solution] A detector test device 20 used for operational testing of a detector 10 that detects a heat source using a photodetector element 12, comprising a light source 24 that emits test light, a housing 21 that houses the light source 24, a panel 22 having an extension portion 222 that extends from one surface of the housing 21 parallel to that surface, and a test light emitting portion 23 provided on the extension portion 222 that emits test light. With the detector test device 20, even if there is an obstruction in front of the detector 10 in its installed state, the panel 22 can be inserted into the gap between the detector 10 and the obstruction, allowing the detector 10 to remain in its installed state while the operational test is performed.
