Abstract

This method can suppress the influence of gases present inside the die-cast material on welding. [Solution] A jointed body comprising a first member formed by die-casting and a second member superimposed on the first member, joined by irradiating the second member with laser light, wherein the first member has a recess that is recessed away from the second member from the superimposing surface with the second member, the portion of the second member facing the recess melts and melts the filler material provided in the recess, and the molten portion of the second member, the molten portion of the filler material, and the molten portion of the first member surrounding the recess mix together, thereby joining the first member and the second member.
