Power supply unit and light irradiation system

Abstract

This power supply device eliminates the need to select and configure the input interface to be used, and allows the light irradiator to be turned on and off without considering the status of unused input interfaces. [Solution] A power supply device that supplies power to a connected light irradiator and controls its light emission mode, comprising a trigger input interface that accepts input of a trigger signal instructing the light irradiator to turn on and off, and a communication input interface that accepts input of a command instructing the light irradiator to turn on and off, wherein the power supply device automatically sets one of the plurality of input interfaces used during the first use as the active interface, and thereafter does not accept inputs instructing on and off from input interfaces other than the active interface.
